The Wish4Life Foundation was established by Dr. Tanya Trippett, inspired by the heartfelt wish of her young cancer patient, Eugène Gasana Jr., who she successfully treated. He hoped that other children in Africa could receive the same quality of care that led to his recovery. His parents supported this vision in founding the Wish4Life Foundation to honor their son’s journey to health.
The Wish4Life Foundation’s mission is a global humanitarian effort focused on increasing access to life-saving pediatric cancer treatments for children in developing nations. By providing essential medical expertise, medicines, supplies, and infrastructure, Wish4Life aims to strengthen pediatric cancer programs in partnership with the global healthcare community.
The Wish4Life Foundation began its impactful work in Rwanda and has since expanded its efforts to Ghana, where it plans to establish an International Children’s Cancer Research Centre. This center will serve as a model for future facilities in other developing nations, creating a lasting and sustainable impact on pediatric cancer care worldwide.
